The Matthew George Young Stockman Award will send one lucky young stockman to Canada each year to see other stud breeding programs. This award was setup in memory of Matthew George of Damala Angus who was killed in a car accident in November 2007. He was 21 years of age. This award is for young people aged between 18 and 25 years and is open to all breeders. To raise funds for the award a Dinner and Auction will be held at the Tracey Function Center at 6:30pm on Thursday 25th September. Cost is $60 per person which includes meals and wine.
