On behalf of Angus Australia, Chi2, a market research company that specialises in research in primary production, is conducting the second round of surveying for the ‘Australian Beef Breeders Insights’ Report. Many of Angus Australia’s members participated in the initial round which was completed in 2019, and Angus Australia is seeking members assistance in completing the survey again.
Why the survey is important:
This iteration of the survey tracks the changes in the industry over the last five years, which will form a vital part of reporting on Angus Australia’s activities over that time. From the previous survey, we gained an exceptionally valuable insight into the use of Angus genetics in Australia and where the quantifiable opportunities lay for the breed. This information helped inform policy, develop new strategic projects and was arguably the first time that comprehensive breed data was captured in the Australian industry. By participating in this round, you will be helping to illustrate practice change and the progress of the Angus breed as well as providing valuable insight into how the footprint of and attitudes towards the breed have evolved.
How to contribute:
Members will have received an email from Scott Carpenter (CrackerJack Insights) which includes a link through which to complete the survey. The survey is fairly comprehensive and will take roughly 20 minutes to complete. If you are so inclined, please take the time to fill out the survey. Your information will be kept strictly confidential and will only be reported on in an industry-wide and occasionally a state-by-state level.
You will also be able to complete the survey via a link circulated on Angus Australia’s social media channels.
Your contribution to this survey and the information you provide would be incredibly valuable and we encourage you to take part. Angus Australia would be grateful for your time and participation.
