1788 and 1788 Platinum are produced exclusively for Netherlands food distributor Jans Zandbergen for distribution throughout the European Union. Only the best black Angus cattle are selected for their premium brands. Cattle graze on open pastures for around 20 months, and are grain finished at several Australian feed yards for between 120 – 200 days and are processed by either NH Foods Australia, Kilcoy Global Foods and John Dee Pty Ltd. Those processed at John Dee Pty Ltd are under the Ravensworth Agriculture brand. The extended feeding period increases the amount of marbling which results in the unique taste and tenderness of the meat. This brand is Halal certified and HGP free.
