Angus clean sweep in Adelaide
Angus exhibits performed with a clean sweep of the Interbreed Awards at the 2023 Royal Adelaide Show, taking out the All Breed Grand Champion Pair, All Breed Junior Champion Pair and Champion Interbreed Sire’s Progeny Group.
The Junior and Grand Champion Angus Bull and Supreme Angus Exhibit, PC Top Prize T048, exhibited by the Pine Creek Angus Stud, Cowra NSW was one half of both the All Breed Grand Champion Pair and All Breed Junior Champion Pair.
Joining the bull for All Breed Grand Champion Pair was DSK Pep Martina R77, exhibited by Diamond Angus, Cowra NSW, who had won Senior and Grand Champion Female in the Angus Judging.
For the All Breed Junior Champion Pair, it was Junior Champion Angus Female, Diamond MS Just Teasen T422, also exhibited by Diamond Angus joining the Junior Bull to take out the award.
South Australia locals, Nampara Angus were awarded Champion Interbreed Sire’s Progeny, with a team of animals by Varilek Geddes 7068.
The Angus judging was overseen by Mr Jack Laurie from Gloucester NSW.
