Simplified Animal ID Search
Recently, Angus Australia has introduced a new feature enabling users to search for animals using the previously used animal-ID format. This functionality, located in the “Database Search” section under the label “Simplified Animal ID,” was implemented after receiving feedback from members requesting this feature be added to the database.
This enhancement allows users to search animals with the animal-ID format used in the past, excluding the two-digit year number.
For instance, an animal with the ID “XXX23U2” can also be located using the “Simplified Animal ID” by entering “XXXU2.” An important note for members is that this approach may result in returning animals from previous year-letter cycles, so please keep that in mind when using this new feature and filtering results.
