October 23, 2018 5:08 pm

Angus Australia’s series of Regional Forums are in the final week, giving you the opportunity to hear about; what genomic testing can deliver to your herd; Angus.Tech; the future programs and developments at Angus Australia; what’s being achieved with the Angus Sire Benchmarking Program and case studies on the value of genomic testing.

2018 will see the forums focus on a “Journey to genetic improvement”,  providing participants with a series of presentations on the latest developments and services offered by Angus Australia.

The presentations will interest seed stock and commercial producers with topics to include;

  • Genomic technologies: what can genomic testing deliver to your herd
  • Case studies on the value of genomic testing
  • What’s being achieved with the Angus Sire Benchmarking Program
  • Angus.Tech showcase: the changing face of the Angus Australia database
  • What’s coming next for Angus breeders: Future programs and developments at Angus Australia
Members wanting help with Angus.Tech are encouraged to stick around after the event and participate in an Angus.Tech tutorial, where specific questions regarding their use of Angus.Tech can be answered. Members interested in participating are encouraged to bring along their own laptop or iPad.
