Grow Angus National Conference, processor and feedlot tour

Northern Tablelands Local Land Services would like to provide landholders with the opportunity of free bus travel to attend the Grow Angus National Conference in Ballarat and participate in tours to near by processors and feedlots.

The tour will be from 16 to 20 May attending the Grow Angus Conference on 18 & 19 May.

The program boasts an impressive line-up of highlevel speakers. Sessions will cover topics including communication across the beef supply chain and technology in markets, genetics and on farm.

Highlights include:

  • Berry Reynolds, Mort & Co – ‘The value and development of strong relationships within the supply chain’
  • Greg Farqharson, Bushy Park – ‘Growing an Angus Business’
  • Jon Condon, Beef Central – ‘Digital disruption and the social media evolution’
  • Garry Edwards, AAM Investment Group – ‘The Evolution of livestock selling systems’
  • Andrew Howie, MLA – ‘Beef is Best: Understanding the Nutritional Health Benefits of Beef’
  • Tom Maguire, Teys – ‘Knowledge is Power: Improving Communication across the Australian Beef Supply Chain’
  • Ben O’Donoghue, Celebrity Chef – ‘Raising the steaks’

Sessions will run across two days with various trade stands on display.
