The Angus Foundation is excited to announce the return of the 2025 Kansas State University Scholarship, offering a unique opportunity for a young Australian to study at one of the leading land grant universities in the world Kansas State.

“Visiting scholars interact closely with undergraduate and graduate students at K-State. They typically audit courses (attend on a non-credit basis) aligned with their interests. “Visiting scholars attend lab classes and assist with university livestock herds, and the annual K-State Angus bull sale in March. They also typically travel visit livestock operations in the state of Kansas and beyond. They sometimes spend as long as two or three weeks assisting on ranches.

“They may attend agriculture industry events, such as the national Cattle Industry Convention, national livestock shows, K-State’s own Cattlemen’s Day, or other events they choose. They may also travel other parts of the U.S. on their own or as part of tour groups. They will visit the American Angus Association headquarters in St. Joseph, Missouri, and can visit other registered or commercial Angus ranches.”

The Kansas State Scholarship is part of the various awards and bursaries offered by the Angus Foundation.
