Angus Australia currently publishes 4 Research Breeding Values. As part of Angus Australia’s involvement in these projects, members have the opportunity to submit additional performance recording information which can either directly feed into current research activities or build the reference data for future research and development activities.
Introduction to Research Breeding Values & Research
RBVs (Research Breeding Values) are EBVs in development. RBVs are produced as part of the development of EBVs for new traits, which enable the refinement of both the performance recording information and the analytical software used in their calculation.
Angus Australia Sire Summary Winter 2021 now available
The Angus Australia Sire Summary contains a summary of the Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs) for selected sires recorded in Angus Australia’s Herd Book Register (HBR) and Angus Performance Register (APR).
