Important Changes to Animal Identification
Members are advised of two important changes that will apply to the identification of animals that are born from January 1st, 2021 onwards.

The unique animal ID assigned to each animal recorded with Angus Australia consists of the breeder’s herd identifier,

Members are advised that there was an error with the EBV reference table (breed average / percentile bands) that was published in the mid-July and August TACE analyses. Specifically, the EBV reference table represented the calves born in 2019,
Publication of Results from Angus BREEDPLAN
Members are advised of some changes to the manner in which results are published from Angus BREEDPLAN.
The changes will come into effect in the upcoming January 2020 analysis,

Members are advised that some considerable modifications have been implemented into the software that is used to calculate the Calving Ease Direct and Calving Ease Daughters EBVs within the December 2019 Angus BREEDPLAN analysis.
