The Angus breed was one win away from an absolute clean sweep of the interbreed awards (but took all four major trophies) at the 2022 Sydney Royal Easter Show, taking out the Hordern Trophy, Urquhart Trophy, Interbreed Breeders Group and Supreme Beef Interbreed Heifer.
The Hordern Perpetual Trophy for Supreme Beef Breed Championship went to the Angus team, of grand champion Angus female KO Jedda K127 KO, exhibited by KO Angus, and grand champion bull PC Royal Roll R017, exhibited by Pine Creek Angus Stud.
The Urquhart Perpetual Trophy for Supreme Beef Exhibit was awarded to Pine Creek Royal Roll R017, Pine Creek Stud, after he was crowned as the Supreme Beef Breed Bull.
The RAS Supreme Beef Interbreed Heifer was won by Diamond MS Reckoning R447, CL Fuller, Diamond Angus Stud.
While the Gordon Fuller Memorial Perpetual Trophy for Breeder’s Group Interbreed went to the Pine Creek Stud.
