PRE CONFERENCE TOUR PROGRAM
7:45am – Depart Mercure Hotel Tamworth, Scully Park, Kent St, West Tamworth
8:00am – Depart Ibis Styles, Cnr Of Ebsworth And, 80-90 Ebsworth Street, Bridge St, Tamworth
8:15am – Depart Best Western Settlers Inn, 191 Goonoo Goonoo Rd, South Tamworth
9:15am – Arrive at the Killara Campdraft Arena – John’s Lane, Quipolly NSW – A mud map is attached
PLEASE NOTE: Those driving must meet the bus at the Killara Campdraft Arena. No cars are permitted to enter Killara Feedlot.
9:30am – Depart Killara Campdraft Arena for Killara Feedlot
11:30am – Lunch at Killara Campdraft Arena, proudly sponsored and supplied by Jack’s Creek
12:30pm – Depart Killara Campdraft Arena for Killain Angus
1:30pm – Arrive Killain Angus – 13553 New England Hwy, Killain NSW 2340
3:25pm – Depart Killain Angus for Heart Angus
3:35pm – Arrive Heart Angus where afternoon tea will be provided – 13763 New England Hwy, Timbumburi NSW 2340
5:30pm – Depart Heart Angus – Returning to Tamworth hotels – Best Western Settlers Inn, Mercure and Ibis Styles
7.00pm – Welcome Function, sponsored by NH Foods Australia, The Terrace Bar, West Tamworth League Club (for those whom have booked tickets)
TRAVEL TO & FROM THE TOUR
If you are travelling by bus, please arrive at one of the pick up points (listed above) 15 minutes prior to departure. There will be an Angus Australia staff member present to greet you.
If you are travelling by car please CLICK HERE to confirm you are doing this via email. PLEASE NOTE: Those driving must meet the bus at the Killara Campdraft Arena. No cars are permitted to enter Killara Feedlot. You will join the bus here.
MEALS ON TOUR
There will be a light morning tea when guest first arrive at Killara Feedlot during the introduction.
Lunch will be from 11.30am, proudly provided by Jack’s Creek- A tasting plate featuring Jack’s Creek 180 day grain fed Black Angus products. Including a pulled brisket roll, thinly sliced rump cap and roasted rib eye with chimichurri, slaw, chips and jus.
Afternoon tea will be available at Heart Angus.
WEATHER
The forecast for Wednesday is looking good (top of 19, partly cloudy), but we suggest that you do pack a coat and of course a hate.
OTHER INFORMATION
Please note that all tour participants will be required to sign a feedlot visitors register. Those catching the bus will do this on the way to Killara. Those arriving by car will be ask to do this as they arrive.
