The Angus Australia Board has resolved to implement an opt-in policy for members details to be included on the Angus Australia website (i.e. via MemberSELECT facility on angus.tech). In addition, it was decided that the contact details of all Junior Members under 18 years of age would no longer be displayed on angus.tech. These changes are to ensure that Angus Australia adequately complies with the requirements of the Australian Privacy Principles associated with the Privacy Act (1988)..
Members can update their Privacy Settings at any time by using the Account Privacy link on the angus.tech Home Page.
If your Privacy Settings have not been set by 1st November 2021 they will be set to the default where all details are hidden. Members can review and change their settings at any time in the future by using the Account Privacy link.
In addition to the settings for display of contact information, members can also to specify if they wish their details to be made available to other members or third parties for the distribution of marketing materials. In cases where members do not specifically granting this approval via the setting included in the Account Privacy link their details will not be included in any future marketing distribution lists provided by Angus Australia.
