Updated EBVs Available – August 2024
Angus Australia wishes to advise that the August 2024 TransTasman Angus Cattle Evaluation has been completed and updated EBVs are now available.
Please note – as per schedule the expected progeny differences (EPD) priors have been updated for existing and new North American animals (US and CAN) for this analysis. This includes changes to the carcase EPD model applied by AGI in May 2024 (click here for more). While overall not significant, it may explain some changes to the Carcase EBVs (particularly rib fat) for some North American bulls and their relatives.
With the completion of the August 2024 analysis, the following reports are available to download from the “Download Files” section of the Member Login area on the Angus Australia website.
