Updated EBVs Available – December 2024
Angus Australia wishes to advise that the December 2024 TransTasman Angus Cattle Evaluation has been completed and updated EBVs are now available.
PLEASE NOTE: A number of important enhancements were implemented into the December analysis as part of the annual updating of the TransTasman Angus Cattle Evaluation analytical software. The enhancements broadly fell into three categories, including:
- Advancements in Estimated Breeding Values
- Expansion of Selection Indices
- Enhancement to the Genetic Evaluation Model and Pipeline

Further inclusion in the December 2024 TACE is (1) updated EPD priors for US and Canadian animals, and (2) the ASBP Cohort 12 carcase data.
