Updated ASBP Progeny Performance Reports

The Angus TACE EBVs and progeny averages listed in the Angus Sire Benchmarking Project (ASBP) Progeny Performance Reports have recently been updated to include the following:

  • Cohort 5: This is the completed report for Cohort 5 and therefore includes carcase traits (Including MSA grade data) from steer progeny and daughter fertility data by way of days to calving.
  • Cohort 6: Steer and heifer 400 day weights (all) and ultrasound scan for EMA, rib fat, rump fat and IMF% (partial). Note: several mobs of steers and heifers are yet to be scanned for this Cohort. The related values may therefore change as further mob are scanned and analysed.
  • Cohort 7: Birth data (all) including birth weight, gestation length, and weaning data (partial) including weights, docility scores. Note: several mobs are yet to be weaned for this Cohort. The related values may therefore change as further mobs are weaned and analysed
  • Cohorts 5, 6 and 7: Update TACE EBVs from the mid-February 2018 TACE analysis.
